These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of jordangall.com (the “Website”), operated by Jordan Gall (ABN 68 170 885 814) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
When you engage us for services or sign up to a hosted service, our Terms of Engagement (jordangall.com/terms-of-engagement.html) also apply.
1. About us
The Website is operated by Jordan Gall, a sole trader based in Kingscliff, NSW. We provide cyber security and IT support to small businesses across Australia.
2. Using the Website
You must use the Website lawfully and must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or any connected system;
- introduce malware or other harmful material;
- interfere with the Website or place an unreasonable load on it, including through automated scanning, scraping or repeated tool requests; or
- copy or republish Website content except as allowed in section 8.
3. General information only
Website content, including blog articles, guides and explanations of Microsoft Secure Score and the Essential Eight, is general information only. It is not professional security, legal or financial advice. Get advice tailored to your circumstances before acting on it.
4. Free tools
4.1 Risk Check
The Risk Check is a free, automated self-assessment based on your answers. It gives a general indication only. It is not an audit, penetration test, certification, or guarantee of security.
4.2 Email Checker
The Email Checker reads publicly available DNS records for the domain you enter, and shows how its email security settings appear. Results are indicative and can be affected by DNS caching and configuration changes. Only use the tool for legitimate purposes.
We are not liable for any decision you make, or action you take or do not take, in reliance on these tools.
5. Prices and quotes
- Prices on the Website are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
- Prices shown on the Website and in instant quotes are indicative and may change. A quote becomes an offer to supply only when it is issued as a written quote, and services start only once accepted on our Terms of Engagement.
- Items marked ESTIMATE are confirmed in writing after a short call, before any work starts.
- Software licences are not included unless stated. You buy them directly from the vendor.
- If the Website shows an obvious pricing error, we are not bound by it. We will contact you before any work starts.
6. Cyber security has no guarantees
Cyber security reduces risk; it cannot eliminate it. Nothing on the Website promises or guarantees that your systems, data or business will be free from cyber attacks, data loss or other security incidents.
7. Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in the Website, please email [email protected] with the details. Please do not access data that is not yours, disrupt the Website, or disclose the issue publicly before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it. We appreciate good-faith reports.
8. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all Website content, including text, graphics, logos, the JORDAN GALL branding, tools and design, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may view and print content for personal or internal business use. Do not otherwise reproduce, modify or commercially use it without our written permission.

The Website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. We may change or suspend any part of it at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and representations about the Website and its content. We are not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its tools.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant information or service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its “Last updated” date, is always available on the Website. If you keep using the Website after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
